For this book club meeting, Elizabeth would like us to do a Murder Mystery Dinner. Now for this to work, everyone who says they are coming must come. So for all those interested let us know so we know how many people to plan this event around and when in the next two weeks would work best for everyone.
Also need to decide if we are having the book discussion the same day we have the Dinner or at another time altogether or if the Dinner will take place of the discussion.
So cast your vote!
Thanks
I wouldn't mind having them both at the same time. I think going through the mystery dinner is pretty much like discussion the book because it's the same story. I can do it on the following dates: Aug. 4 & 5th anytime after 7:30pm; 12th after 7:30pm, 13th after 5pm. The 14th I'm wide open.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind having them at the same time or different days. Which ever is best for the majority. Depending on the work schedule I am pretty much open on Tuesday for sure, otherwise will have to wait for schedule or if we pick a date, I can make sure I have the night shift off.

ReplyDeleteI don't mind one way or the other. I think that having the Dinner & the discussion at the same time is a good idea, just for the practicality of it with regard to everyone's work schedule.
I'm free on Tuesdays, so if it ends up on that day (or any other day, for that matter) count me in!
Sidenote: What if we had the dinner & discussion in succession of each other, like if the Dinner was on a Thursday night and the discussion was that Friday night?? Just a thought*
Either way, I'm in.
You had me at Dinner! ;) I'm in of course! I think having them both together seems like it would work best so I vote for that. Are we thinking next week then? I seem to be closing Fridays but other than that my evenings are relatively open, so whatever works best.
ReplyDeleteAllison is in, i useually have tuesdays off as well other than that i would have to check my work schedual. i think having them both is a good idea. Hi Sasha!!!!!!! MIss you!!!!!

So, what's the consensus?! I'm ready to get this thing going! When? Where? How? Who? What? Why?
I loved this book and I'm SOOOO ready to start discussing!
I have a How To Host A Murder Game: The Chicago Caper. It's is September, 1920, Chicago, Illinois. Six months have passed snce the notorious Chicage ganter, Harold Coppone, was jailed in Philadelphia for the relatively minor charge of carrying an unlicensed gun.
ReplyDeleteHope you all like!!
